How our tutoring process works

1. Pairing

  • Submit our short Expression of Interest form

  • Propel staff will contact you with tutor options corresponding to your subject requirements and location.

  • Select your tutor

  • Your tutor will contact you directly to organise your first session.

2. Tutoring Session

  • Each session follows a clear, structured framework aligned with the QCE system.

  • Tutors will also adapt their teaching style to suit each student.

  • After each session, your tutor will complete a session review form, including what was covered, assessment progress, and any homework or study to be completed individually.

  • You receive an email with the session summary and link to online payment via Stripe.

3. Session Review & Payment

We also offer a growing library of resources that complement tutoring and support independent learning, including QCE-specific study trackers, worked video solutions, and free planning and homework tools.

  • We facilitate private chats through your preferred platform (e.g., WhatsApp, email) with your tutor.

  • Yes, we offer both small and medium group sessions. Groups of 2-5 need to be privately organised before the session.

  • Yes, we carefully match students with tutors based on their learning style, personality, and academic needs to ensure the perfect fit. You will always have the final choice as to which available tutor is best for you.

  • You will be updated usually within 1-3 days after completing the EOI form. As Propel is a new, local business we cannot guarantee a time-frame or 100% tutor availability for all locations and subjects.
